Compare Proof
Six trading journals, one table, and a fair page on each. Every fact about a competitor was read from that company's own site in October 2026; prices change, so treat them as a snapshot. Proof is ours. Where another journal is stronger, the page says so.

Proof versus five trading journals
One word per cell. Yes means the feature is described on the product's own site. Partial means part of it is. Manual means it is done by file import or by hand. No means we could not find it on the product's pages in October 2026, which is not the same as proof it does not exist. Details and sources are on each linked page.

Notes on the table
- Presets. Proof ships FXIFY, FundingPips, FundedNext, Goat Funded, FTMO, The5ers, Topstep and Apex plus custom. TradesViz lists 37+ firms. TradeZella names FTMO, Apex and Topstep plus 12 more. Edgewonk supports prop firm accounts without presets.
- Trailing drawdown. Proof: high-water, equity, end-of-day and locking. TradesViz: trailing end-of-day, trailing intraday, static, trailing-to-static lock. TradeZella describes daily drawdown; trailing variants are not described.
- News windows. Proof applies block windows per firm from several top sources combined plus the firm's own list. TradesViz stores news blackout fields in firm profiles and says enforcement is coming (June 2026 post).
- Payout. Proof projects a date from the firm's schedule and rules. TradesViz shows a payout readiness indicator (buffer above the floor), not a date.
- AI. Proof includes Vera with 500 credits a month on every plan. TradesViz includes AI Coach, Query and Chat on paid plans. TradeZella includes Zella AI with 500 to 3,000 credits by plan. TraderSync's Cypher is capped at 5, 15 or 60 messages a day and its proactive coach is Elite only.
- Rule cost. Edgewonk's Tiltmeter counts rule breaks; it does not total them in dollars. TradesViz's consistency widget states dollars needed for one rule.
- Routine. Edgewonk has checklists, routine tracking and streak analytics. TradesViz has day planning checklists and a rules and goals tracker. TradeZella has a Habit agent.
- Auto-sync. TraderSync lists 700+ platforms, TradeZella 500+, TradesViz 70+ auto-sync (250+ supported), Tradervue sync on paid plans. Proof and Edgewonk work by file import; Proof reads CSV from MT4, MT5 and others.
- Price. Monthly figures are the lowest paid tier billed yearly where offered, as shown in October 2026: TradesViz Pro $14.99, TradeZella Essential $26 ($35 monthly), Tradervue Silver $29, TraderSync Pro $22.46 discounted ($29.95 list), Edgewonk $197 a year only. Proof's special pricing is $49 a month, $399 a year or $499 lifetime; regular pricing later is $59, $499 and $999.
How to pick
If your broker auto-syncs with one of them and you will not import a file, pick that one. TradesViz is the best of those for a funded trader and the cheapest.
If backtesting, replay and a community are part of the deal, TradeZella. If your losses come from tilt, Edgewonk. If you want the most reports for the least money on a personal stock account, Tradervue. If you journal from an iPhone, TraderSync.
If you run funded accounts at more than one firm and want the rules, the news windows, the payout date and the cost of every break on one screen, Proof. Start with the free Proof Score: upload a CSV and see your score, your biggest leak and your rule-break cost before you pay anyone.
None of these journals, Proof included, enforces a rule at the broker. They track and warn. The firm's platform decides.

Which trading journal is most like Proof?
TradesViz. It has firm profiles, four drawdown types, a daily loss tracker and a consistency score. The differences are that Proof applies news windows per firm, projects a payout date, totals rule cost in dollars and runs a daily routine, while TradesViz has broker auto-sync, Challenge Mode and a lower price.
Does Proof sync with brokers?
No. Proof imports CSV files from MT4, MT5 and other platforms and supports manual logging. TradeZella, TradesViz, TraderSync and Tradervue all list broker auto-sync.
Is Proof the cheapest trading journal?
No. TradesViz Pro ($14.99 a month billed yearly) and Tradervue's free plan are cheaper. Proof is $49 a month, $399 a year or $499 lifetime at special pricing, with a 7-day refund, and includes 500 AI credits a month and all features on one plan.
How were these comparisons checked?
Every claim about a competitor was read from that company's pricing, feature or help pages in October 2026, and each page lists the exact URLs used. Where a page was inconsistent, the comparison says so.
Can I move my trades from another journal to Proof?
Yes, by CSV. TradeZella, TradesViz, Tradervue (paid plans) and TraderSync all export CSV. Edgewonk exports Excel with limited columns, so exporting from your platform is cleaner. Each alternative page has the steps.
