Prop firm rulesLegends Trading Rules Explained (2026)
Legends Trading sells two futures evaluations and a straight-to-funded Master account. None has a daily loss limit; all use an end-of-day trailing max loss and a consistency rule. Here are the numbers on a 50K. Rules were checked against Legends Trading's published pages in October 2026; confirm in your dashboard before you trade.

Overview: Apprentice, Elite and Straight to Master
Apprentice is a monthly evaluation in 25K, 50K, 100K and 150K. On the 50K the list price is $185 a month, the profit goal is $3,000, the end-of-day trailing max loss is $2,000 and the contract limit is shown as 10 contracts or 50 micros. Consistency is 30%. After passing you pay an activation fee: $99 on 25K and 50K, $149 on 100K, $199 on 150K.
Elite is a one-time evaluation with no activation fee. The 50K lists at $149, with a $2,700 profit target, a $2,200 trailing max loss, 4 minis or 40 micros and a 40% consistency rule.
Straight to Master skips the evaluation. The 50K lists at $499 one-time, with a $3,000 profit goal and 10 minimum days before the first payout, a $2,000 trailing max loss and 30% consistency.
The plan page usually shows a promotional price well below list ($37 a month for the Apprentice 50K at the time of checking). Check checkout for the current figure. Passing an evaluation leads to a Master account, the funded stage.
Rules that end the account
The trailing max loss is the one hard limit. An Apprentice breach disqualifies the evaluation; a Master breach liquidates the account. Either needs a reset to continue.
Payout rules
Legends publishes the split and frequency. It does not publish payout minimums, caps or buffers on its plan page, so those are left to your dashboard.
- Consistency first: your best day must be under 30% of the profit goal (40% on Elite). Going over adjusts the requirement; it does not fail the account.
- Frequency: up to two payout requests a month once consistency is met.
- Straight to Master: payouts open after the 10 minimum days and the profit goal ($3,000 on 50K).
- Split: 90/10, kept after moving to live funding following the second payout.
- Processing: 1 to 5 days.
- Third-party summaries list minimums, per-cycle caps and buffers by size, but Legends does not confirm them on a public page. Treat them as unverified.
News and trading hours
Legends publishes no news rule, and its evaluation guidelines say there are no blackout days.
Trading runs from the market open to one minute before the market close. Do not plan to hold positions overnight or over the weekend; the drawdown is set at the close, and Legends does not publish an overnight allowance.
Worked example on a 50K
On an Apprentice 50K you start with a floor of $48,000. You close day 1 at $50,800, so the floor moves to $48,800. Day 2 peaks at $52,000 intraday but closes at $51,400; the floor moves to $49,400, set by the close.
Your best day is $800. Under 30% consistency against a $3,000 goal the most any day can be is $900, so you are inside it. After 4 days (or 7, per the guidelines) at $53,000 you pass, pay the $99 activation fee and move to Master, where you can request payouts up to twice a month and keep 90%.
How Proof tracks it
Proof's Legends Trading preset runs an end-of-day trailing floor that updates at the close and checks it against live equity. Risk Guard shows the room left and sizes contracts against your plan's limit.
Proof checks your best day against 30% or 40% of the goal, counts trading days, and counts payout requests in the month. Proof warns and tracks; it does not close trades at your broker.
Proof tracks every Legends Trading rule for you
The Legends Trading preset moves the end-of-day floor at the close, checks your best day against 30% or 40% of the goal, counts your minimum days and keeps count of payout requests each month.

Does Legends Trading have a daily loss limit?
No. Apprentice, Elite and Straight to Master accounts have no daily loss limit. Only the end-of-day trailing max loss can end the account.
What is the Legends Trading drawdown on a 50K?
$2,000 end-of-day trailing on the Apprentice and Straight to Master 50K, $2,200 on the Elite 50K. It moves up at the close with your profit.
What is the Legends Trading consistency rule?
Your best day must be under 30% of the profit goal on Apprentice and Straight to Master, and 40% on Elite. Exceeding it adjusts the requirement rather than failing you.
How often does Legends Trading pay out?
Up to twice a month once the consistency rule is met, with a 90/10 split and 1 to 5 days of processing.
Is there an activation fee at Legends Trading?
Apprentice accounts pay $99 on 25K and 50K, $149 on 100K and $199 on 150K after passing. Elite has no activation fee.
