Tradeify Rules Explained (2026)

Every Tradeify account uses an end-of-day trailing drawdown, but daily loss, consistency and payout rules change by plan. Here is each one with the numbers on a 50K. Rules were checked against Tradeify's published help center pages in October 2026; confirm in your dashboard before you trade.

Overview: Select, Growth and Lightning

Select is a one-time evaluation with a $3,000 target on 50K, a $2,000 end-of-day drawdown, no daily loss limit, 4 minis or 40 micros, a 40% consistency rule and a 3-day minimum. When you pass you choose Select Flex (payouts every 5 winning days) or Select Daily (daily payouts with a daily loss limit). The choice is permanent.

Growth has the same target and drawdown on 50K but a $1,250 soft daily loss limit, no consistency rule and a 1-day minimum. Its funded account has a fixed payout policy with a 35% consistency rule.

Lightning is straight to funded: no evaluation, a $2,000 end-of-day drawdown on 50K, a $1,250 soft daily loss limit and a progressive consistency rule. There is no reset; a failed Lightning account has to be replaced.

Tradeify's plan guide gives price ranges rather than a price per size: Select $109 to $369, Growth $99 to $369, Lightning $345 to $796, all one-time with no activation fee. Check checkout for your size.

Rules that end the account

Only the drawdown fails an account. The daily loss limit is a soft breach: it stops you for the day.

Daily loss
Select evaluation and Select Flex: none. Select Daily: $1,000 on 50K. Growth evaluation and Lightning: $1,250 on 50K, soft breach. Tradeify warns not to use it as a stop loss.
Max loss
$2,000 on 50K, end-of-day trailing on every plan. The level moves only at the close but is enforced in real time on net liquidation value, so touching it intraday fails the account even if price recovers. On funded accounts it locks at $50,100 once an end-of-day balance reaches $52,100, or as soon as you request a payout, whichever comes first.
Contracts
4 minis or 40 micros on a 50K evaluation or Lightning. Select funded accounts scale: 2 minis, then 3 at $1,500 of profit and 4 at $2,000. Minis and micros combine at 10 micros per mini.
Hedging
Opposing positions in the same or correlated products count as a hedging violation.
Overnight
Not allowed on any account, including live. Positions left open at the cutoff are closed automatically; that does not fail the account, but fills can be poor.

Payout rules

Consistency at Tradeify only blocks payouts. It never fails an account, and it resets after each approved payout.

  • Select Flex: 5 winning days of $150 or more per cycle on 50K, up to 50% of total profit per request, $250 minimum, 90% split. The 50K cap is $2,500 for accounts bought after September 1, 2026 ($3,000 before). No consistency rule.
  • Select Daily: eligible each session with cycle profit above $0, a $2,100 buffer on 50K, up to twice the profit since the last payout, capped at $1,250 on 50K for newer accounts. 90% split.
  • Growth funded: 5 days of $150 or more per cycle, balance of at least $53,000 to request on 50K, 35% consistency, $500 minimum. Caps on 50K are $1,500, $2,000, $2,500, then $3,000 from the fourth payout. 90% split.
  • Lightning: a profit goal of $3,000 for the first payout on 50K and $2,000 for each one after; profit does not carry over. Consistency is 20% for the first payout, 25% for the second and 30% after. $1,000 minimum; caps $2,000 for payouts 1 to 3 and $2,500 after. 90% split.
  • The 10-second rule: on funded accounts most of your trades and most of your profit must come from positions held longer than 10 seconds, or the payout is refused.

News and trading hours

Tradeify has no news rule on any account. The risk is slippage, not a violation.

The CME session runs 6:00pm to 5:00pm ET. Every position must be closed by 4:45pm ET (3:45pm CT) each trading day, and by 12:59pm ET on holiday-shortened days. You can hold through the night inside one session, for example 8:00pm Monday to 2:00pm Tuesday, but not through 4:45pm, the maintenance break or the weekend.

Worked example on a 50K

You pass a Select 50K and pick Flex. The funded account starts at $50,000 with a floor of $48,000. You close day 1 at $50,900, so the floor moves to $48,900 overnight; a day that peaks at $51,500 intraday and closes at $51,200 moves it to $49,200, not $49,500.

On the day you close at $52,100 the floor locks at $50,100 for good. By then you have 5 winning days of at least $150 each. With a balance of $52,600 your total profit is $2,600, so you can request up to 50% of it, $1,300, and keep 90%, $1,170. The floor stays at $50,100, leaving $1,200 of room.

Had you chosen Select Daily instead, the same account would also carry a $1,000 daily loss limit and a $2,100 buffer, but you could ask every session.

How Proof tracks it

Proof's Tradeify presets run an end-of-day trailing floor that locks at $50,100 on 50K funded accounts and checks it against live equity, because the breach is intraday. Risk Guard shows room to the floor and to the soft daily limit, whichever is nearer, and sizes contracts against the scaling tier.

For payouts Proof counts $150 winning days, tracks your best day against 40%, 35% or the Lightning step for your payout number, shows the cap for that payout, and flags trades held under 10 seconds. A close alarm fires before 4:45pm ET. Proof warns and tracks; it does not close trades at your broker.

Proof tracks every Tradeify rule for you

The Tradeify presets lock the end-of-day floor at $50,100, show the soft daily limit beside it, count $150 winning days, check consistency for your plan and payout number, flag sub-10-second trades and remind you to be flat by 4:45pm ET.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Tradeify drawdown trailing or static?

Does Tradeify have a daily loss limit?

Select evaluation and Select Flex have none. Select Daily has $1,000 on 50K. Growth and Lightning have a $1,250 soft breach on 50K that stops trading for the day without failing the account.

What is the Tradeify consistency rule?

40% in the Select evaluation, 35% for Growth funded payouts, and 20%, 25% then 30% for Lightning payouts. Select Flex and Daily funded accounts have none. It blocks payouts; it never fails the account.

Yes. Tradeify has no rules for news events on any account. Positions still have to be closed by 4:45pm ET.

What time does Tradeify close positions?

All positions must be flat by 4:45pm ET (3:45pm CT) each trading day and 12:59pm ET on holiday-shortened days. Open positions are closed automatically.
