The5ers Rules Explained (2026)

High Stakes is The5ers' two-step program with the firm's loosest loss limits and its strictest daily rule. Every rule below is shown with the numbers on a $100,000 account. Checked against The5ers' published program page in October 2026; confirm in your dashboard.

Overview: High Stakes

High Stakes is a two-step evaluation. The5ers' own comparison table lists the targets as 8% in Step 1 and 5% in Step 2; a passage on the same page says 10% and 5%. The table is the more recent figure and matches third-party checks, but confirm the target on your own account page before you plan a step. Each step needs 3 profitable days, where a profitable day is one whose closed trades make at least 0.5% of the initial balance ($500 on $100K). There is no time limit.

The funded stage starts at an 80% split and scales up: the account grows on every 10% target up to $500K, and the split rises toward 100% at later milestones. Payouts are processed bi-weekly with a $150 minimum, with the first request available 14 days after the first funded trade (third-party verified). Leverage reaches 1:100 on forex, the highest in The5ers' lineup.

The5ers does not print High Stakes prices on its program-comparison page; sizes and fees are on the order form. The firm's other programs (Hyper Growth, Bootcamp) use different limits and are not covered here.

Rules that end the account

High Stakes has two termination rules and both are checked on equity, so an open position can breach you.

Daily loss
5% below the higher of balance or equity at server midnight. The5ers is explicit that this terminates the account immediately with no recovery; it is not the 3% daily pause used on Hyper Growth and Bootcamp. On $100K that is $5,000 of room from a flat start; begin the day higher and the floor moves up with you, so banked profit is not a cushion against the daily rule.
Max loss
10% of the initial balance. The firm's page calls it the overall maximum loss and does not describe it as trailing; our October 2026 notes and third-party checks record it as a fixed floor at $90,000 on $100K that never moves. Confirm on your dashboard that your account shows a fixed figure.
Open risk
No separate open-risk cap. Your limit is the gap to the daily or max-loss floor, whichever is nearer.
News
No new orders, market or pending, from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after high-impact news. Holding an existing position through the release is allowed. Profits from trades opened or closed inside the window are deducted (third-party verified). Our notes add: no brackets placed around news and no bulk opening of several trades at once.
Weekend/overnight
Allowed. The5ers permits overnight and weekend holds on applicable instruments; index swaps over the weekend are higher than on weekdays.
Consistency
None on High Stakes. The profitable-day requirement is the only pacing rule.
Other
Your stop loss must be visible on the platform; stealth or hidden stops are not permitted. An account with no trades for 30 consecutive days closes automatically. Hedging requires a stop loss on every position.

Rules that block payouts

  • 3 profitable days per step, each closing at least 0.5% of the initial balance ($500 on $100K). You can hit the target in two days and still not pass.
  • Funded stage keeps the same loss limits: 5% daily and 10% max, so one bad day after a scale-up can end a bigger account.
  • First withdrawal 14 days after the first funded trade, then every two weeks, with the cycle resetting when the account scales (third-party verified).
  • $150 minimum per withdrawal request.
  • News-window profit is deducted before the split, so a reward can be smaller than the balance suggests.
  • Scaling is on 10% targets. Reaching one grows the account and restarts the payout timing.

Easy to miss

  • The 5% daily rule terminates; it does not pause. Traders moving from Hyper Growth or Bootcamp expect a lockout. There is none.
  • Server midnight is the reset, not your midnight. Check your platform clock; the daily floor is set from the higher of balance or equity at that moment.
  • A floating gain at midnight raises the floor. If you are up $2,000 unrealized at the reset on $100K, the floor is set from $102,000, not $100,000, and a reversal eats room you never banked.
  • The step-1 target is printed two ways on the firm's own page. Plan for the number your dashboard shows.
  • No pending orders inside the 2-minute window. A limit order placed before the window that fills inside it is not the problem; placing one inside it is.
  • Hidden stops count as no stop. Platform-side stops only.

How to track it

At server midnight write down the higher of balance and equity and subtract 5% of the initial balance; that is today's termination line. Beside it keep the fixed $90,000 floor on $100K. Size every trade against the nearer line and include open positions, because the check is on equity.

Keep a profitable-day tally per step: only days whose closed trades net 0.5% or more count, so a day that closes at $400 on $100K adds nothing. Plan the step around three qualifying days rather than around the target alone.

For news, mark every high-impact event with a 2-minute block each side and a simple rule: no new orders inside it, holding is fine. The drawdown calculator gives both floors for any size, and the payout date calculator counts the 14-day cycles.
