Overview: One-Phase, Two-Phase and Instant Funding

PropXP sells a One-Phase challenge, a Two-Phase challenge (10% then 5%) and Instant Funding, which starts on a funded account with no pass target. The accounts table lists sizes of $3,000, $10,000, $25,000, $50,000, $100,000 and $200,000, but the fee cells were blank in October 2026, so check prices at checkout.

Neither challenge has a strict minimum number of days or a time limit, but the 40% best-day rule means you need at least 3 profitable days in practice. Every funded account pays 80%, or 95% with an add-on. News and weekend holding on funded accounts are add-ons too.

Rules that end the account

PropXP measures the daily limit from equity, not balance, and resets it at 00:00 UTC, which is 7pm CT in US summer time and 6pm CT in winter.

Daily loss
3% on One-Phase and Instant Funding, 5% on Two-Phase, taken from the day's starting equity. Open P&L at the reset carries into the new base. The line does not trail during the day.
Max loss
Static from the starting balance: 6% on One-Phase and Instant Funding, 10% on Two-Phase.
Floating loss
Instant Funding only: combined open P&L reaching -1% auto-flattens your trades and cuts the split to 50% the first time; the second time is a breach.
Hold time
Funded and instant accounts must hold trades at least 2 minutes. The first short trade is a warning; the second is a breach.
Prohibited
High-frequency trading, hedging and correlation hedging, group trading, copying external signals, tick scalping, latency arbitrage and gap trading before the close. Martingale and grid are allowed but reviewed.

Payout rules

  • Funded from a challenge: first reward on demand once eligible, then every 2 weeks (7 days with an add-on). Minimum reward $50.
  • Instant Funding: first reward 2 weeks after the first trade, then every 2 weeks from the first trade after your last reward. Minimum $100, and you need 5 profitable days of at least +0.5% measured on the start-of-day balance.
  • Profit and consistency: closed profit of at least 1% of the initial balance, and a best day of no more than 40% (challenge-funded) or 20% (Instant) of the period's profit. Being over the limit is not a breach.
  • Be flat: close all trades and cancel pending orders before requesting, and stop trading while it is processed.

News and weekend

News is allowed during both challenges. On funded accounts without the News add-on, close positions 5 minutes before red news and do not open or close anything until 5 minutes after. High-impact US news restricts every instrument; non-US news restricts that currency's instruments; gold also covers ECB, BOE and BOJ decisions and speeches. On challenge-funded accounts the first violation is a warning with a 50% split, and the second is a breach.

Weekend holding is allowed in the challenges. Funded and instant accounts must be flat before the Friday close unless you bought the Weekend add-on. Crypto can be held and traded through the weekend.

Worked example: $50,000 Two-Phase

Phase 1 asks $5,000 and Phase 2 $2,500. The max loss floor is $45,000. If day-start equity is $52,000, the daily buffer is $2,600 and the breach line is $49,400. With a 40% best-day rule, a $2,000 best day needs $5,000 of total profit before you pass Phase 1.

Once funded, the first reward can be requested as soon as closed profit reaches $500 and your best day is within 40% of the period's profit.

How Proof tracks it

Pick the PropXP preset. Proof sets the 00:00 UTC reset in your local time, takes the daily base from day-start equity, keeps the static max floor, warns at -1% open P&L on Instant Funding, flags holds under 2 minutes and the 5-minute news windows on funded accounts, and checks your best day against 40% or 20%. The drawdown calculator and payout date calculator work the same numbers by hand.
