Overview: Evaluation, funded stages and Insta
Lux Trading Firm sells a one-stage Evaluation in three sizes and an Insta account in two. The Evaluation costs £199 for $100,000, £449 for $400,000 and £999 for $1,000,000, and the fee is refunded in full after you pass Stage 1 and the risk desk approves. Targets are 10%, 12% and 15%. There is no minimum or maximum number of trading days.
After the Evaluation you move through funded scaling stages, each needing a 10% gain: $100,000 to $200,000, $400,000, $1,000,000, $2,500,000 and then $10,000,000. Funded stages pay an 80% split, and you can withdraw on request whenever the account is in profit.
Insta costs £299 for $100,000 or £699 for $400,000, is not refundable and does not scale. It pays 80% of a 12% profit target after a risk desk review. These rules apply to accounts activated on or after 22 September 2025.
Rules that end the account
Lux has no daily loss limit on the Evaluation or Insta. The rules that matter are the static floor and the risk rules, which Lux enforces per trade.
Payout rules
- On request: funded accounts can withdraw at any time once in profit, with no fixed cycle, after a risk desk review.
- Close first: all positions must be closed when you withdraw.
- Withdrawals count: profit you withdraw still counts toward the stage target.
- Insta: the payout is 80% of the 12% target, so $9,600 on $100,000 at the target.
News and weekend
Lux does not ban news trading outright, but news bracketing (orders placed both sides of a release) ends the account and forfeits profit, and stops may not be moved within 30 seconds before or after a news event.
Funded traders are encouraged to hold over the weekend and there is no limit on trade duration. Lux does not state a weekend rule for the Evaluation or Insta, so confirm in your dashboard.
Worked example: $100,000 Evaluation
The target is $10,000 and the floor is $94,000. With the balance at $100,000, Remaining Risk Capital is $6,000, so the most you may risk on one trade is $300. If you pick 1% of RRC per trade, you keep that 1% for the stage. After a $2,000 gain, RRC is $8,000 and 1% is $80.
No single trade may make more than $500, so a full pass needs at least 20 winning trades.
How Proof tracks it
Pick the Lux preset. Proof keeps the static 6% floor, computes Remaining Risk Capital live, checks each trade's risk against 5% of it and against your fixed stage percentage, and flags any trade or correlated group that would make more than the per-trade profit cap. The drawdown calculator and payout date calculator work the same numbers by hand.
Proof tracks every Lux rule for you
The Lux preset keeps the static 6% floor, live Remaining Risk Capital, the 5% per-trade risk check and the per-trade profit cap in one place.
