Overview: StartTrader, SwiftTrader, ProTrader and ProTrader Swing
Fintokei sells four evaluation programs, all for a one-time fee with no monthly charge. ProTrader is the two-phase plan: 8% in Phase I, 6% in Phase II, 5% daily loss, 10% max loss, at least 3 trading days and no time limit. Sizes run from $5,000 ($49) to $400,000 ($2,599), with $100,000 at $549 on the plan page. The funded split starts at 80%.
ProTrader Swing has the same targets and limits, but the daily loss is measured from closed balance instead of equity, news trading is allowed, and leverage is lower (1:25 on FX and metals). Sizes run $5,000 ($69) to $200,000 ($1,499).
StartTrader is a three-phase plan with small targets (2%, 3%, 6%), a 3% daily loss, a 6% max loss, a 40% consistency rule in every phase and a 50% to 100% reward set per payout. Sizes are $5,000 ($44) to $100,000 ($419).
SwiftTrader is one phase: 6% target, 3 to 60 trading days, and on accounts bought from July 15, 2026 a 2% daily loss and a 3% static max loss. The split is 90%, and each payout needs at least 3% profit. Sizes are $5,000 ($44) to $200,000 ($1,099).
Rules that end the account
Fintokei checks both loss limits in parallel against live equity. A breach is immediate and the account is closed; it does not wait for the end of the day.
Payout rules
- First payout 14 days after the first trade on the funded account, then once every 14 days (Fintokei's How it works page and payout blog).
- Split by plan: ProTrader and Swing 80% to start, SwiftTrader 90%, StartTrader 50% to 100% set on each payout.
- SwiftTrader needs +3% profit before a payout unlocks and at least 3 trading days in the cycle (5 days on accounts bought before July 15, 2026).
- Rule review before payment. Fintokei checks that all activity followed the rules; approved payouts are sent within hours.
- Close everything first. A phase only counts once all trades are closed, and payouts are based on closed profit.
News and weekend
ProTrader Swing says outright that news trading is allowed. The other plan pages and help articles checked do not list a news restriction, so this page records none, but check your dashboard before trading a release.
Weekend holding is allowed on ProTrader, StartTrader and SwiftTrader according to each plan page. ProTrader Swing is built for holding and is swap-free; its page does not state the weekend rule in so many words.
Worked example: $100,000 ProTrader
Day 1 starts at $100,000. The max-loss floor is $90,000 and stays there for the life of the account. At midnight UTC equity is $103,000, so Day 2's daily floor is $97,850 (5% below $103,000).
On Day 2 you close at $101,000 with nothing open. Day 3's daily floor is $95,950. The nearer floor is the daily one, so your room on Day 3 is $5,050. With the 3% open-risk cap you can risk up to $3,000 on one setup.
If the same account were a Swing account and you held a trade overnight that was $2,000 down at midnight, the Day 2 base would still be the closed balance, not the lower equity, so the floor would sit higher than on a standard ProTrader account.
How Proof tracks it
Proof's Fintokei presets set the daily reset at midnight UTC, take the equity snapshot (or balance on Swing) as the base, keep the static floor from your starting size and show the nearer of the two as live room. The 3% open-risk cap is checked against the stop on each trade before you place it.
On StartTrader, Proof keeps a running best-day share against 40% of the target. On SwiftTrader it counts trading days and profit toward the 3% payout minimum, and the payout date calculator counts the 14-day cycle from your first funded trade.
Proof tracks every Fintokei rule for you
The Fintokei presets carry the midnight UTC equity snapshot (balance on Swing), the static floor, the 3% open-risk cap, the StartTrader 40% consistency check and the 14-day payout cycle, and show live room to the nearer floor.

What is the Fintokei daily loss limit?
5% on ProTrader and ProTrader Swing, 3% on StartTrader and 2% on SwiftTrader (3% on SwiftTrader accounts bought before July 15, 2026). It resets at midnight UTC from an equity snapshot, or a balance snapshot on Swing.
Is the Fintokei max loss trailing?
No. It is a fixed percentage of starting capital: 10% on ProTrader, 6% on StartTrader and 3% on SwiftTrader. On a $100,000 ProTrader account the floor is $90,000.
How often does Fintokei pay out?
Once every 14 days, with the first payout 14 days after the first trade on the funded account. SwiftTrader also needs 3% profit and 3 trading days per payout.
Can I trade news on Fintokei?
ProTrader Swing allows news trading. Fintokei's other plan pages do not list a news restriction; confirm in your dashboard before trading a release.
Does Fintokei have a consistency rule?
StartTrader limits any one day to 40% of the profit target in all three phases. SwiftTrader applies consistency rules by default, and going over the 3% open-risk cap on any plan can trigger them.
