Prop firm rulesE8 Futures Rules Explained (2026)
E8 Markets runs a separate futures program with two plans: E8 Signature and E8 Zero (Starter and Max). Both use an end-of-day dynamic drawdown on closed balance. Here are the numbers on a 50K. Rules were checked against E8 Futures' published plan pages and futures help center in October 2026; confirm in your dashboard before you trade.

Overview: E8 Signature and E8 Zero
E8 Signature is a one-phase challenge in 25K, 50K, 100K and 150K. The 50K lists at $170 (shown at $128 with 25% off when checked), with a 6% target ($3,000), a 2% daily pause, 4 contracts and a 35% best-day rule. The drawdown is chosen at purchase between 2.66% and 4%; E8 shows $3,000 at the 3% setting on the 100K. The funded stage pays 80% and allows 4 payouts per account.
E8 Zero comes as Starter (25K to 150K) and Max (25K to 200K). The 50K needs $3,000 with a $1,500 end-of-day dynamic drawdown, no daily loss limit, 4 contracts and a 40% best-day rule in the challenge. The funded stage has no consistency rule and pays daily. Starter and Max share rules; Max has higher payout caps. The 50K lists at $328.
Neither plan has an activation fee. E8's forex and CFD products are separate and not covered here.
Rules that end the account
Payout rules
- Signature: on demand, first payout in as little as 3 days, then 5 profitable days (realized P&L of 0.3% or more, $150 on 50K) between payouts. $100 minimum. A buffer equal to the drawdown always stays in the account. Caps on 50K: $1,250 for payouts 1 and 2, $2,000 for 3 and 4. 80% split.
- Zero: one request a day, $100 minimum. Cap per request on 50K: $1,000 on Starter, $3,000 on Max. Each cycle pays only that cycle's profit; what you leave becomes buffer. No consistency and no minimum profitable days. 80% or 100% split, chosen at purchase.
- Payout limit: 4 per account on both plans (5 on Zero accounts bought before October 1, 2026). After the last one the account closes and you get a free new challenge of the same size.
News and trading hours
News trading is allowed with no restrictions on both plans. E8 recommends avoiding high-impact releases, but it is not a rule.
Permitted hours are 5:15pm to 3:10pm CT. All open positions are force-closed at 3:10pm CT and nothing is held overnight.
Worked example on a 50K
On an E8 Zero 50K challenge the loss level starts at $48,500. You close day 1 at $51,000; it rises to $49,500. Day 2 closes at $50,600 and it stays at $49,500. Your best day is $1,000, so under the 40% rule you need at least $2,500 of total profit, and the target asks for $3,000. Day 3 closes at $53,000 with a $2,400 day, which is now 80% of profit, so you keep trading until that day is 40% or less: $6,000 total.
Once funded, closing $1,500 of profit locks the loss level at $50,000. With $1,800 of profit this cycle on a Starter account, you can request up to $1,000 and keep $800 at the 80% split; the remaining $800 stays as buffer.
How Proof tracks it
Proof's E8 Futures presets run an end-of-day floor on closed balance and lock it at the starting balance at the right trigger, except in the Zero challenge, where it keeps moving. Risk Guard shows the room left and the 2% daily pause on Signature, and sizes contracts against the Zero funded scaling steps.
Proof checks your best day against 35% or 40%, counts 0.3% profitable days on Signature, shows the cap for your plan and payout number, counts payouts toward four, and sets a close alarm before 3:10pm CT. Proof warns and tracks; it does not close trades at your broker.
Proof tracks every E8 Futures rule for you
The E8 Futures presets run the end-of-day dynamic floor on closed balance, lock it at the right moment, show the 2% daily pause, check 35% or 40% best-day rules, show your cap and count payouts toward four.

How does the E8 Futures EOD dynamic drawdown work?
It is your highest closed end-of-day balance minus the drawdown amount. Open profit does not raise it. It locks at the starting balance once closed profit equals the drawdown or at your first payout, except in the E8 Zero challenge.
Does E8 Futures have a daily loss limit?
E8 Signature has a 2% daily pause ($1,000 on 50K). E8 Zero has no daily loss limit.
What is the E8 Futures consistency rule?
35% best day on Signature and 40% best day in the E8 Zero challenge. E8 Zero funded accounts have no consistency rule.
How many payouts can I take from an E8 Futures account?
Four per account on Signature and Zero (five on Zero accounts bought before October 1, 2026). After that you receive a free new challenge of the same size.
What time does E8 Futures close positions?
3:10pm CT. Trading runs 5:15pm to 3:10pm CT and positions are force-closed at the end; overnight holding is not allowed.
