Overview: CFD Prime 1 Phase, 2 Phase and CFDs Instant
The Trading Pit sells two CFD Prime evaluations and an instant account. Prime 1 Phase asks for 10% with a 3% daily drawdown and a 6% max drawdown; the official checkout shows the $50,000 account at $349. Sizes run from $2,500 to $200,000. Prime 2 Phase is described as steady progress with extended drawdowns; third-party checks list 10% then 5% targets, 5% daily and 10% max up to $20,000, and 4% daily and 8% max from $50,000. The Trading Pit's own pages do not print the 2 Phase numbers, so confirm them at checkout.
CFDs Instant skips the evaluation. There is no daily drawdown, a 6% trailing max drawdown that locks at the starting balance, a per-position loss cap and a consistency rule on payouts. Every Prime earning account pays 80%, and the Trading Pit also runs futures and stock programs that are not covered here.
Many rules depend on the size and on when you bought the account. The $100,000 and $200,000 1 Phase accounts carry extra rules: an end-of-day trailing max drawdown (bought from April 29, 2026), a 50% consistency rule (created from July 6, 2026) and a news window.
Rules that end the account
The daily close for every rule is 4:15pm CT. Breaches are tested on equity, including open trades, and close the account permanently.
Payout rules
- Prime: first request 14 days after the earning account is issued, then every 14 days, minimum $100, 80% split.
- Profitable days: each Prime payout needs 3 profitable days, where the lower of end-of-day balance or equity is at least 0.5% of the starting balance above the prior day (accounts created after March 6, 2026).
- Prime 1 Phase $100K and $200K: best day no more than 50% of Positive Days' Profit. It is not a breach; you keep trading until it is met.
- Instant: every 14 days, above $200, capped at the lower of $2,500 or 50% of realized profit on $5K to $20K. Best day limit 30% ($5K to $20K), 25% ($50K) or 20% ($100K) of total profit. Later payouts need profit since the last request.
- Trailing accounts: the reward policy warns that withdrawing all profit while the floor trails toward the starting balance can breach the account.
News and weekend
News trading is allowed on Prime CFD accounts except the $100,000 and $200,000 sizes, where you cannot open trades or have pending orders fill from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after high-impact news. CFDs Instant allows news on every size.
Overnight and weekend holding is allowed on all CFD accounts, and crypto can trade on weekends on selected platforms. On Instant, commodities, energies, metals and crypto are closed automatically 10 minutes before the Friday session ends.
Worked example: $50,000 Prime 1 Phase
The static max-loss floor is $47,000 (6%) and the daily allowance is $1,500 (3%). Day 1 closes at 4:15pm CT at $50,900. Day 2's daily floor is $49,400, and the nearer floor is the daily one: $1,500 of room.
The risk-per-idea cap is $750 (1.5% of $50,000). Two positions on EURUSD and GBPUSD with $400 stops each count as one correlated idea at $800 and would be over the cap.
To pass you need $5,000 of profit, flat positions, and 3 days where the lower of balance or equity closed at least $250 above the prior day.
How Proof tracks it
The Trading Pit presets use the 4:15pm CT close, the fixed daily amount from the closed balance, the static or end-of-day trailing floor for your size and purchase date, and the 1.5% risk-per-idea check against each stop before you place it.
Proof counts profitable days at 0.5% of the starting balance, tracks the 50% or Instant best-day share, and the payout date calculator counts the 14-day cycle from the day your earning account was issued.
