MyFundedCapital Rules Explained (2026): Daily Loss, Drawdown, News & Payouts

Overview: Instant Funded, 1-Step and 2-Step

MyFundedCapital sells three forex programs. Instant Funded starts funded with no target, from $95 for $5,000 to $999 for $100,000. The 1-Step Challenge asks 10% over at least 3 trading days, from $189 to $689. The 2-Step Challenge asks 8% then 5%, with 3 profitable days of at least 0.5% in each phase, from $29 for $2,000 to $635 for $100,000. The firm also sells stock and prediction-market accounts, which this page does not cover.

Starting splits are 70% on Instant Funded and 80% on both challenges, raised by paid add-ons to 80% and 95%. News trading and weekend holding are also add-ons, priced as a percentage of the plan. The 2-Step can scale to $500,000, and from 9 October 2026 its fee is refunded once with the first approved payout.

Rules that end the account

Both loss limits are hard breaches. Open losses, commissions and swaps count at once, so a trade can breach you before it closes.

Daily loss

3% on Instant Funded and 5% on both challenges, measured from the previous end-of-day closed balance and reset at 5pm New York time (4pm CT). Open profit at the reset does not raise the floor.

Max loss

Instant Funded: 6% trailing on the highest closed balance, stopping at the starting balance. 1-Step: 10% trailing on the highest closed balance, locking at the starting balance once you are 10% up on closed trades. 2-Step: 10% static, a 90% floor in every stage.

Inactivity

At least one trade every 30 days, or the account is breached.

Prohibited

Martingale, grid, arbitrage, high-frequency trading, scalping, all-in or gambling trades, hedging between accounts and switching strategies between accounts. EAs need prior approval from support.

Payout rules

First payout: 14 days after the first trade on Instant Funded and the funded 2-Step, 7 days on the funded 1-Step. The clock starts at the first funded trade, not at purchase.
Cycle: weekly on Instant Funded and 1-Step, every 14 days on 2-Step (weekly with an add-on).
Limits: $5,000 maximum per cycle, with the rest carried to later requests. Instant Funded has a $100 minimum.
Consistency: on Instant Funded and funded challenge accounts your best day may be at most 35% of total accumulated profit. A $300 best day needs at least $857.15 of total profit. The evaluation stage has no consistency rule.

News and weekend

For accounts bought from 7 October 2026, opening new FX and metals positions is blocked from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after high-impact news. Closing is always allowed, and the block is not a breach. The News Trading add-on removes it.

Weekend holding needs the Weekend Holding add-on. On Friday, new FX and metals positions stop at 4:45pm ET (3:45pm CT) and open ones are closed automatically from 4:50pm ET; that close is not a breach. Crypto trades through the weekend.

Worked example: $100,000 Instant Funded

On day one the daily floor is $97,000 and the trailing floor is $94,000. Close the day at $103,000 and tomorrow's daily floor is $99,910 (97% of $103,000), while the trailing floor rises to $97,000. A close at $106,000 locks the trailing floor at $100,000.

The first payout comes 14 days after the first trade. With $5,000 of profit your best day can be at most $1,750, and the request is paid at 70% unless you bought the split add-on.
