Overview: Zero-Step, One-Step and Two-Step

HyroTrader runs crypto evaluations on exchange-style accounts with unlimited time. Zero-Step asks 10% in at least 1 trading day with a 3% daily and 5% max loss, starts from $89 and costs $949 at $100,000; the fee is not refunded. One-Step asks 10% in at least 5 days with 4% daily and 6% max, from $69, $749 at $100,000. Two-Step asks 10% then 5% with 5 days per phase, 5% daily and 10% max, from $59, $579 at $100,000.

One-Step and Two-Step take a deposit that is refunded with the first payout. Every funded account starts at 80%; One-Step and Two-Step can rise to 90% at HyroTrader's discretion. Funded allocations reach $200,000 per person.

Leverage goes up to 150x on BTC and ETH and is lower on most other pairs. No stop loss is required, and bots are allowed through the API if the strategy is your own.

Rules that end the account

HyroTrader uses one daily drawdown model on every challenge: static, from the day's starting equity, with nothing to choose or buy.

Daily loss
3% (Zero-Step), 4% (One-Step) or 5% (Two-Step) of the initial balance below the equity at 00:00 UTC (7pm CT in US daylight time). The floor is set at the start of the day and does not rise with intraday profit: on $100,000 One-Step starting the day at $102,000, the floor is $98,000 even if equity reaches $105,000.
Max loss
5%, 6% or 10% of the initial balance, described by HyroTrader as static.
Low-cap coins
Positions in coins under $100M market cap may not exceed 5% of the initial balance, including leverage.
Prohibited
Martingale, hedging across accounts, combining spot and margin in one account, and strategies that only profit from news-driven pricing errors.

Payout rules

  • On demand, once positions are closed and you have at least $100 of profit after the split. Paid in USDT or USDC, typically within 24 hours, with no fees.
  • Deposit refund with the first payout on One-Step and Two-Step.
  • Split starts at 80%; Zero-Step stays at 80%.
  • Consistency in the evaluation only: on One-Step and Two-Step no single day may count for more than 40% of the target; on Zero-Step no single trade may count for more than 50%. HyroTrader says this rule never fails a challenge; it means you keep trading until the share falls.

News and weekend

News and weekend trading are permitted. Crypto trades all week, so the 00:00 UTC daily reset happens on Saturdays and Sundays too. The only news-related ban is on strategies that profit solely from pricing errors around news.

Worked example: $100,000 Two-Step

Day 1 starts with equity at $100,000: daily floor $95,000, max floor $90,000. You end the day with an open BTC long, equity $101,500. Day 2's floor is $96,500 (equity at 00:00 UTC minus $5,000), and it stays there even if the trade runs to $104,000.

Phase 1 needs $10,000. Under the 40% rule no day may supply more than $4,000 of it; a $5,000 day means the phase continues until total profit is $12,500. Once funded, you can withdraw any time you have $100 of profit after the 80% split and nothing open.

The open trade matters at the reset. If the BTC long is $1,500 up at 00:00 UTC and then reverses to breakeven, equity falls to $100,000 while the floor sits at $96,500. You have used $1,500 of the day's $5,000 allowance without closing a losing trade.

On a Zero-Step at the same size the numbers tighten: a $3,000 daily allowance and a $95,000 max floor. With 150x available on BTC, a full-size position can move equity through the daily floor in a fraction of a percent, so leverage and position size need to be set against the floor, not the account size.

How Proof tracks it

The HyroTrader presets fix the daily floor at 00:00 UTC from starting equity, keep the static max floor, and track the 40% best-day or 50% best-trade share during the evaluation.

Proof also warns when a low-cap coin position passes 5% of the initial balance. The drawdown calculator shows both floors at any equity.

Frequently asked questions

What is the HyroTrader daily drawdown?

Static: 3% on Zero-Step, 4% on One-Step and 5% on Two-Step of the initial balance, below the equity at 00:00 UTC. Intraday profit does not raise the floor.

Is the HyroTrader max loss trailing?

No. It is a static 5%, 6% or 10% of the initial balance depending on the challenge.

How do HyroTrader payouts work?

On demand in USDT or USDC once you have $100 of profit after the split and no open positions, usually within 24 hours.

Does HyroTrader have a consistency rule?

Only in the evaluation: 40% of the target per day on One-Step and Two-Step, 50% per trade on Zero-Step. It delays passing but never fails the challenge.
