Prop firm rulesFunderPro Rules Explained (2026)
FunderPro sells a One-Phase challenge, two 2-Phase challenges (Classic and Pro) and an Instant account. The floors are simple, but the 20% margin cap, the funded news rule and the Pro and Instant best-day rules are where accounts get closed or payouts get held. Rules were checked against FunderPro's published challenge, support and terms pages in October 2026; confirm in your dashboard.

Overview: One-Phase, Classic, Pro and Instant
One-Phase: 10% target, 3% daily loss, 6% max loss, no minimum days. Leverage 1:50 on forex. A firm blog post adds a 40% best-day rule.
Classic 2-Phase: 10% then 5%, 5% daily, 10% max, 4 trading days per phase, no consistency rule. Leverage 1:100 on forex. FunderPro prints two prices: $69 for $5K and $539 for $100K.
Pro 2-Phase: 10% then 8%, 5% daily, 10% max. Funded Pro accounts choose daily rewards at a 60% split or weekly rewards at 90%. The blog lists a 45% best-day rule.
Instant: no evaluation, 3% daily, 6% max that trails until it reaches the starting balance, a 15% best-day rule and 5 profitable days before a reward. The homepage says up to $100K, from $79.
Challenge sizes run $5K to $200K, with no time limit. Total funded allocation is capped at $200,000 per client.
Rules that end the account
FunderPro calculates the limits on balance but breaches on equity, so a floating loss through the floor ends the account even if the trade would have recovered.
Payout rules
- One-Phase and Classic: first reward 14 days after funding (7 days with an add-on), then every 14 days. Every request needs at least $100 of profit. FunderPro's comparison table shows an 80% split; a 90% split is an add-on on One-Phase.
- Pro: daily or weekly rewards, picked at checkout. Requests open once the account is at least 1% above the initial balance. Daily rewards pay 60%, weekly rewards 90%.
- Instant: rewards every two weeks, $100 minimum. The first two requests are capped at 5% of the balance; the rest stays in the account. You need 5 separate days with at least 0.5% profit, and the best day can be no more than 15% of the profit you request.
- KYC must be approved before the first reward request on Instant.
- Approved rewards are processed within one working day.
News and weekend holds
During evaluations you can open or hold trades through high-impact news. On funded challenge accounts you cannot enter a trade within 2 minutes before or after a high-impact release unless you bought the Swing or News Trading add-on. FunderPro's Instant pages list no news window.
Weekend holding on challenge accounts is unrestricted only with the Swing add-on. Instant accounts can hold overnight and over the weekend, but holding only to catch a weekend or overnight gap is prohibited, and losses carried overnight shrink the next day's allowance.
Worked example: $100,000 Classic 2-Phase
The max floor is $90,000 for the life of the account. At the 5pm EST snapshot the balance is $100,000, so the daily floor is $95,000.
You close day 1 at $103,000. Day 2's daily floor is $97,850 (5% of $103,000 is $5,150). The max floor stays at $90,000.
On day 2 you open a trade and equity drops to $97,800 before it recovers. That is a breach even if the trade closes green, because equity crossed the daily floor.
The margin cap matters too: on $100K, keep any one asset class under 20% of available margin, whether that is one position or several.
How Proof tracks it
Pick the program and Proof sets the balance snapshot at the 5pm EST reset, the static or trailing floor, and the best-day check for Pro and Instant. Risk Guard warns on equity, not just closed balance, so floating losses show against the floor in real time.
On funded accounts the news calendar blocks 2 minutes each side of high-impact releases. Use the drawdown calculator for the floors and the payout date calculator for the 14-day cycle.
Proof tracks every FunderPro rule for you
The FunderPro presets carry the 5pm EST balance snapshot, the static or Instant trailing floor, the funded 2-minute news blocks, the best-day checks and the reward cycle for each program.

Is the FunderPro drawdown trailing?
On challenge accounts no. The max loss is static from the initial balance: 6% on One-Phase and 10% on Classic and Pro. The Instant account's 6% floor trails the balance high-water mark until it reaches the starting balance.
When does the FunderPro daily drawdown reset?
Challenge accounts snapshot the balance at 5pm EST, which is 4pm CT. The Instant program measures from 00:00 GMT+3 server time. Breaches are checked on equity at all times.
Can I trade news on FunderPro?
Yes during evaluations. On funded accounts you cannot enter a trade within 2 minutes before or after a high-impact release unless you have the Swing or News Trading add-on.
How often does FunderPro pay out?
One-Phase and Classic every 14 days, with the first reward 14 days after funding. Pro accounts pay daily at 60% or weekly at 90%. Instant pays every two weeks with the first two requests capped at 5%.
What is the FunderPro margin rule?
Using more than 20% of available margin in one asset class is treated as excessive risk. On Instant, using 80% or more across all asset classes is also prohibited.
