Overview: Instant Funding, One-Step, Two-Step and Flex

FTUK is built around scaling. Instant Funding gives a funded forex account with a 5% daily drawdown, a 6% max drawdown and six levels; each 10% of profit moves you up a level and raises the split from 65% to 90%. Payouts are on demand.

One-Step has a 10% target, 4% daily, 8% max, 4 trading days and seven funded levels at 80%, paid every 2 weeks. Two-Step has an 8% target in Challenge and Verification, 5% daily, 8% static, 3 trading days per stage and the same 80% split. A trading day only counts if it makes at least 0.5%.

Flex is a one-step evaluation with a 4% target, 1 trading day, 5% daily and a 6% trailing max that locks at the start. You pay a setup fee from $9 and the rest after you pass; the reset table gives $374 for 50K. FTUK's help articles print no other prices, and FTUK's futures accounts are not covered here.

Rules that end the account

FTUK takes its daily snapshot at 22:00 UTC, which is 5pm CT during US daylight time and 4pm CT in winter.

Daily drawdown
5% on Instant, Two-Step and Flex, 4% on One-Step, measured from the higher of closed balance or equity at 22:00 UTC. On $50,000 with a balance of $50,000 and equity of $50,600 at the snapshot, the floor for the day is $48,070.
Max drawdown
Two-Step: 8% static. Flex: 6% of the initial balance below the highest closing balance, locking at the initial balance. One-Step (8%) and Instant (6%) are listed as relative; the article does not define the term, so check your dashboard for how the floor moves.
Account Protector
On every program, if open losing positions together reach 2% of the starting balance, everything is closed automatically. On Flex funded accounts the first violation is a soft breach and the second a hard breach.
Restricted
Flex lists martingale, tick scalping, reverse, latency and hedge arbitrage, grid trading and HFT. Instant accounts may not close trades partially (policy from February 18, 2026).

Payout rules

  • Instant: on demand, no minimum days. Your best day must be under 20% of the profit at levels 1 and 2, under 30% at levels 3 and 4, and under 40% at level 6 (level 5 is listed as 30% on one article and 40% on another).
  • Withdraw the whole level to get the level split. Taking all of a level's profit in one request earns that level's split; smaller requests are paid at 65% (Instant) or 60% (Flex).
  • One-Step and Two-Step: every 2 weeks at 80%, with the first payout after 4 (One-Step) or 3 (Two-Step) trading days.
  • Flex: on demand once the best day is under 20% of the requested profit, with the split rising from 60% to 90% as you scale.

News and weekend

FTUK's Instant Funding article says news trading is allowed. The One-Step and Two-Step articles do not mention news; a third-party check reports news as allowed, with one FTUK page calling it an optional add-on on One-Step evaluations, so confirm at checkout.

Overnight and weekend holding is allowed at every stage of Instant, One-Step and Two-Step. The Flex article does not mention weekends.

Worked example: $50,000 Instant Funding, Level 1

Day 1 snapshot: balance and equity $50,000, daily floor $47,500. Max drawdown 6% gives $47,000 from the start. The Account Protector closes everything if open losers together reach $1,000.

After $5,000 of profit you reach Level 2. To be paid at 65% at Level 1 you need a best day under 20% of the requested profit: with a $900 best day you need at least $4,500 requested. Take all $5,000 in one request to get the level's split; three smaller requests are each paid at 65%.

How Proof tracks it

The FTUK presets take the 22:00 UTC snapshot at the higher of balance or equity, keep the max floor for your program, and watch the 2% floating-loss Account Protector against your open positions.

Proof tracks the best-day share for your scaling level and counts 0.5% trading days for One-Step and Two-Step. The payout date calculator counts the 2-week cycle.

What is the FTUK Account Protector?

If open losing positions together reach 2% of the starting balance, FTUK closes all of them automatically. It applies on every forex program.
