Overview: 2-Phase, 1-Phase and Instant

Crypto Fund Trader runs simulated accounts on crypto and forex with no time limit. The 2-Phase evaluation asks 8% then 5% with a 5% daily loss and a 10% fixed overall loss. The 1-Phase asks 10% with a 4% daily loss and a 6% trailing loss that locks at the starting balance. The official evaluation page asks for 5 trading days per phase.

A third-party price check in August 2026 listed the 2-Phase from $58 (5K) to $1,250 (200K), with $50,000 at $389, and the 1-Phase from $40 to $1,199, with $50,000 at $369. Add-ons for weekly payouts and a 90% split each cost 20% of the fee. Passed evaluations are capped at $300,000 per person.

Instant accounts have no target and scale from $5,000 through 10% withdraw-and-upgrade milestones up to $1,280,000, with the split rising from 50% to 90%. CFT also lists 3-Phase, Ascend and Break routes; their full numbers were not published on the pages checked, so this page does not cover them.

Rules that end the account

CFT tests breaches on equity, so open losses count the moment they happen. A breach deactivates the account.

Daily loss
5% on 2-Phase, 4% on 1-Phase, measured from the account balance at 12:05 AM UTC (7:05pm CT in US daylight time, 6:05pm CT in winter).
Max loss
2-Phase: 10% below the initial balance, fixed. 1-Phase: 6% below the highest balance until the account is up 6%, then locked at the initial balance.
Profit cap
Simulated profit is capped at $10,000 per day and per trade.
Reverse trading
Opposite positions on the same instrument open together for 60 seconds or more are not allowed unless the first trade has been open 24 hours.
Prohibited
HFT, tick scalping, arbitrage, news scalping EAs, reverse-trading EAs across accounts, all-in trading and abusive hedging.

Payout rules

  • 15 traded days or 30 calendar days between requests on 1-Phase and 2-Phase. The Weekly Payouts add-on cuts it to every 7 traded days.
  • Split up to 80%, or up to 90% with the Bonus Performance add-on.
  • KYC approved and all trades closed before you submit. Processing averages about 8 hours, with review up to 48 business hours.
  • Instant: request at each 10% milestone, which also doubles the account.
  • Reset and review eligibility requires that no single trade risked more than 2% of the account size.

News and weekend

News trading is allowed on the 1-Phase, 2-Phase and Instant accounts. CFT's FAQ restricts news only on Ascend accounts (no new trades from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after high-impact events).

Overnight and weekend positions are allowed. Crypto trades all week; forex runs Monday to Friday. Swaps apply at 00:00 UTC on MetaTrader 5 and 22:00 UTC on Match-Trader.

Worked example: $50,000 1-Phase

Start: daily allowance $2,000 (4% of the 12:05 AM UTC balance), trailing floor $47,000. You close a trade and the balance reaches $51,500; the trailing floor rises to $48,500. Once the balance passes $53,000 the floor locks at $50,000 for good.

The next day starts at $51,500, so the daily floor is $49,440. The trailing floor at $48,500 is lower, so the daily floor is your real limit. The target is $55,000 after at least 5 trading days.

Because the daily base is the closed balance at 12:05 AM UTC, a position held through the reset that is $800 in profit does not raise the next day's base. If it then turns into a $1,200 loss, $1,200 of the day's allowance is used, even though equity was $800 above the base at the reset.

The profit cap matters on larger sizes. On a $200,000 2-Phase the Phase 1 target is $16,000, and with $10,000 the most any single day or trade can count, you need at least two days to pass.

How Proof tracks it

The Crypto Fund Trader presets use the 12:05 AM UTC balance for the daily floor, the fixed or locking trailing floor for your phase, and warn as a day or trade approaches the $10,000 profit cap.

Proof counts traded days toward the 15-day payout rule, and the payout date calculator works out the 30-day alternative.
